Underfloor heating is a set of plastic pipes that are often run under a solid concrete floor surface and use the floor itself to heat the room, by radiating heat upwards.
This type of heating will generally, only be fitted during a new build or extension or conservatory added to an existing property.
Consideration will have to be given to the floor covering, tiles and wooden floors are ideal, however, deep pile carpets may have an adverse effect on the heating performance, acting as an insulator.
